Position Summary:
The Systems Analyst is responsible for working directly with business stakeholders at all levels of the organization, focusing primarily on the Payson plant, to assist with the implementation and ongoing support of best practices in the use of technology. Function as a partner to business stakeholders to implement technologies and additional reporting data to improve operational efficiency. Provide ongoing support on the ERP systems. Actively audit system usage and transactions to ensure best practices are followed and communicate when not. This role will be expected to learn and adapt quickly and be driven to find and implement solutions to various business process and system use issues. Additionally, this role will work closely with the Payson Operations and Continuous Improvement teams.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Essential Accountabilities:
- Provide functional support and training directly to ERP system users on proper use of the system and established processes for handling issues
- Participate in the implementation of best practices business processes across all company locations
- Actively monitor system transactions at the Payson plant to ensure adherence to best practices and communicate when there are exceptions
- Work across the organization to share system processes and increase process consistency across locations
- Participate in the technical evaluation and business justification of additional ERP modules and bolt-on software/programs
- Provide support in the creation of standard system user manuals and ensure that they’re up to date, are sufficient for users to perform duties, and follow proper revision control
- Manage ERP access permissions
- Acts as a Process Improvement Champion for assigned Business Improvement projects
- Work directly with ERP software vendor to provide technical support as issues arise
- Effectively implement and follow up on assigned projects
- Support the implementation of the ERP system upgrades
- Support creation and management of crystal reports with IT Team

During ERP Implementations or Upgrades:
- Travel to implementation locations to provide in-person functional support with Auto Count training and Go-Live to ensure a “low-impact” go-live
- Ensure documentation for new processes is added to user reference manuals before going live
- Participate in the training of end-users and obtain necessary documentation and sign-off that they will be successful in completing their assigned duties within the ERP system
- Meet project plan due dates for training and operational readiness
- Support core team as needed

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or information technology and 2-3 years of experience in a relevant analyst or support role.

Candidate must be highly motivated, comfortable working independently, and have good decision-making and organizational skills complemented by effective communication abilities to interface with people within and outside of IT. This position must highly regard best practices and effective written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with EPS Radius Packaging Suite Applications, Crystal Reports, and SQL in flexible packaging is a plus.
Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to travel as required:
- Up to 30% during ERP implementations or major projects, significant travel (Monday morning through Thursday evening) may be required. Additional travel (1-3 nights) to facilities to support ongoing enforcement of best practice business processes will occur regularly.
