Learning & Development Program Manager

The Learning & Development Program Manager contributes to the creation of a culture of continuous learning which sustains efforts to become a best place to work in our industry. The primary responsibility of the Learning and Development Program Manager is to develop, implement, and maintain the enterprise-wide learning programs under the direction of the Director of Learning and Talent Development and Chief Human Resources Officer. The role works closely with operations to ensure comprehensive training and development initiatives meet the firm’s strategic goals and address individual and organizational skill gaps.

The Learning and Development Program Manager will contribute as a team member by managing the planning, design and evaluation of learning solutions. Additional responsibilities include identifying Subject Matter Experts and assisting in their readiness to facilitate PPC Academy courses. The Learning and Development Program Manager will also be responsible for coordinating learning experiences with vendors and program evaluation.

Learning Solutions Planning & Design:
Manage the design, delivery and execution of Learning Solutions for internal clients as the Project Manager
Utilize Cornerstone OnDemand to design instructional training & articulate 360
Manage curriculum development and facilitation of PPC Academy learning programs

Learning Solutions Customer Service & Delivery:

Identify Subject Matter Experts and assist in their readiness to facilitate PPC Academy courses
Schedule participants and Subject Matter Experts per Academy Plan
Maintain Knowledge Management hub for Academy courses

Learning Solutions Administration
Identify and analyze key metrics in the evaluation of PPC Academy programs for iterative design improvement
Participate in project coordination with vendors and external resources

Talent Management
Enhance the Employee Experience through coaching and mentoring of individual contributors and people leaders
Maximize LMS platform functionality by mapping learning solutions to identified competencies and skills

Qualifications:

This position requires a confident individual contributor with a passion for process improvement and continuous learning in the specialty subcontractor industry. Must have a desire to work in a team-based environment and contribute immediately.

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar function
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development or Talent Management

Advanced Degree preferred

Association for Talent Development - CPTD certification preferred

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities
Positive safety attitude and personal integrity – both are non-negotiable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to facilitate group discussion
Ability to incorporate adult learning principles into program design
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Articulate 360, Cornerstone OnDemand, Vyond 
Demonstrated ability to acquire new skills and competencies
Self-starter with the ability to manage own workload and priorities with an attention to detail
Results oriented customer service
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across business units
