Project Manager - Substation/Transmission
MPS is growing in the substation and transmission market and is looking for a Project Manager to help manage this department. The Project Manager will be responsible for substation and transmission construction projects from beginning to end, including resource planning, estimating, budget management, maintaining policies, project documentation, keeping the site safe and maintaining a set schedule.
Responsibilities:
- The Project Manager will also be responsible for sales, project forecasting, project plans, ordering material, growing the team, customer satisfaction, monthly financial reports, and billing.
- Manage billings, track accounts receivables and forecast and develop appropriate programs, strategies, and supervision.
Achieve the minimum budgeted net profit for the project. - Coordinate day-to-day department activity. Make final decisions on manpower assignments and selling of new customers for assigned projects.

Four year engineering, business, project management, or construction related degree or Journeyman background required.
Positive safety attitude and personal integrity- both are non-negotiable.
Ability to think conceptually and apply practical solutions. Capabilities to self-start, display solid work ethic, and aspire to move ahead.
Talent to act decisively and aggressively through positive communication with others.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
