Director of Learning and Talent Development
The Director of Learning and Talent Development executes the PPC Partners learning and talent management strategies to create a continuous learning culture, thus sustaining the effort to become a best place to work in our industry. Generates excitement for continuous learning by creating learning experiences that achieve the desired learning outcome in a human-centered and goal-oriented manner while efficiently deploying resources. This position will serve as the primary learning and talent management architect by identifying core role and leadership competencies and will empowers the learning and growth of talent by implementing and evaluating programs that facilitate the leadership development and continuous learning of employees.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development and implementation of high impact learning solutions that align with strategic business objectives and goals at the enterprise level utilizing a variety of learning modalities
- Use evidence-based theories to lead the iteration of sustainable PPC Academy learning journeys that systematically develop organizational capabilities based on core and leadership competencies Manage external vendor relations, integrating programs across the organization at the enterprise level for learning management systems, course authoring tools and content providers
- Consult with ELT to identify critical roles in the organization and execute a succession management strategy
- Consult with ELT to identify core role and leadership competencies
- Consult with Company level stakeholders on key performance indicators to identify upskilling and reskilling opportunities for incumbents that align with core competencies Consult with ELT to identify core role and leadership competencies combined with hallmarks of potential as the foundation for identifying high potential employees and individual development plans
- Lead the development of measurement and evaluation plans to support the company learning and talent strategy
- Analyze course content and evaluate programs to support iterative changes to enhance the quality of programs and meet the needs of the target audience.
- Ensure the success of all learning and talent initiatives through identifying, tracking, and analyzing key metrics.
- Coach and Mentor Learning and Talent Development team members systematically developing organizational capabilities through 1-on-1’s, individual development plans and goal setting
- Develop the Learning and Talent Development annual budget
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in learning and development or HR field
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or Organizational Development
- Experience leading teams of at least 5 people. Experience managing remote teams is preferred
- Positive safety attitude and personal integrity – both are non-negotiable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated group facilitation and presentation skills
- Working knowledge in adult learning principles/education preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and ability to quickly adopt new software and technology
- Self-starter with the ability to manage own work load and priorities
- High level attention to detail.Able to stay organized and multi-task various projects
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Demonstrated experience building partnerships at all levels of the organization
