We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipper/Receiver to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the flow of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment, and supporting facility operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and multitasking skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and experience operating forklifts to handle larger deliveries. The role also includes responsibilities related to maintaining office and meeting room supplies, event setup, and facility upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
Shipping & Receiving:
● Receive and verify incoming shipments, from small packages (e.g., Amazon deliveries) to large pallets/skids, using forklifts or manual equipment as needed.
● Unload deliveries, inspect shipments for accuracy and damage, and document findings.
● Track and confirm receipt of shipments using Microsoft Outlook or other standard office tools.
● Inform employees promptly about package arrivals and ensure proper distribution.
● Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring items are securely packaged, labeled, and scheduled for pickup.
Facility Maintenance & Support:
● Stock copy paper, bathroom supplies, soda, and water in designated areas, including meeting rooms and offices.
● Maintain cleanliness and organization of meeting rooms, resetting clocks annually, and ensuring all areas are well-stocked.
● Manage waste and recycling schedules, including calling for trash, cardboard, and metal dumpster servicing as needed.
● Replace batteries in hand towel dispensers and maintain restroom equipment.
● Replace outdoor flags every six months or as needed.
● Assist with minor facility maintenance and escalate larger issues to the appropriate teams.
● Coordinate with outside contractors for lawn care, snow removal, and similar services. Ensure all work is completed to satisfaction.
Event & Seasonal Support:
● Set up chairs, tables, and other equipment for company events, including summer cookouts.
● Assist with seasonal decorations, such as setting up and taking down Christmas trees, to ensure the facility is ready for events.
Warehouse Operations:
● Maintain warehouse vending bins and coordinate weekly servicing.
● Ensure all tools and equipment are returned to proper storage locations after use.
● Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to improve efficiency.
Communication & Coordination:
● Collaborate with team members and other departments to manage shipments and facility needs effectively.
● Communicate with vendors, delivery drivers, and recycling companies to ensure smooth operations.
● Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues proactively
