The Global Deployment Director, SAP Global Template Implementation will be accountable for all activity to support deployment of the Global Template project. You will be a pivotal member of the S/4 Transformation office and report directly to the Director, Global Transformation and Process Management.
As the Global Deployment Director, you will be accountable to develop the deployment strategy with our selected system integrator and manage a team responsible for testing, cutover, data readiness, site preparedness and other important activities supporting implementation. With the help of a project manager you will be accountable to ensure risks are defined, mitigation actions are put into place and activities are completed within deadlines. Along with the system integrator and IT organization you will develop the 5 year, enterprise-wide deployment strategy and approach, and facilitate their team to provide seamless execution of the tactical efforts across all SBUs/functions, and regions.
You will work with the Director, Global Process Excellence, and the IT Lead to make strategic decisions and activate the organization to deliver on time and budget without negative customer impact.
Key Responsibilities

Ownership for strategic development and execution of the global deployment plan with external agencies and internal partners

Formalize organizational design and conduct hiring at appropriate timing to support global deployment schedule

Direct global implementation activity across our enterprise to lead efficiencies and effectiveness throughout the organization

Manage suppliers and resources and ensure delivery to agreed dates and budgets

Define and manage operating schedule for deployment activities with program team and business/region/functions

Ownership for site preparedness to ensure implementation without negative customer impact

Establish and activate necessary governance and escalation protocol for implementation phases

Contribute to strategic discussions on global process development, system design and other S/4 TMO based activities

Advocate for organizational change and support change management and training teams
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 10 years in leadership position

Proven success in organizational influencing

Strong presentation, meeting-management and decision making skills

Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including clear communication of goals and roles to team members

Provide meaningful real-time coaching to others
This role can be remote in the United States or Europe with the expectation to travel to Cranberry Township (CRO Office) or Amsterdam office once a month. Travel is estimated at ~30% of the time.
