Summary
The Radiologic Technician operates fluoroscopic imaging equipment
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with angiograms, thrombectomies, PD catheter insertions, etc.
- Positions and readies patient for C-arm procedures.
- Knowledge of sterile environment.
- Maintains weekly inventory and orders supplies.
- Performs and documents quality control on equipment according to manufacture guidelines or department protocols.
- Reports equipment problems/failures to Manager.
- Ensures a safe and clean environment with all the necessary supplies needed to perform studies and procedures in operating room.
- Maintains yearly competency, mandatory District education, professional certification, state licensure, and education requirements.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills / Requirements:
- Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training: Texas Medical Board, ARRT
- Special procedures
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
