- Electrical Maintenance Mechanic, Huron OH
- Starting pay : $25.30 - $35.72 per hour based on experience, plus a $1.00 shift differential.
- Shift : 2nd or 3rd based on availability
Evening (2nd) 3 : 00pm – 11 : 00pmMonday - Friday
As an Electrical Maintenance Mechanic you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!
Primary Responsibilities
Repair and perform preventative maintenance on belts, piping, filters, mixers, valves, bearings, mechanical seals, and pumps.
Troubleshoot and proof test equipment as necessary to solve problems and proactively prevent them.
Install, test, and maintain control devices, pressure-sensing units, and flow measuring devices.
Work from detailed technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
Work independently under limited supervision (self-management).
Perform documentation of work schedule and work tasks completed.
Basic welding and fabrication.
Perform general housekeeping.
Qualifications
Ability to read, interpret and understand technical documents and drawings of plant equipment.
Ability to perform confined space entry and work at heights.
The position requires frequent lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending, and kneeling.
The position may require weekend work.
