**Production Associate SC, Huron OH **
Starting pay: $19.64 plus an additional $1.00 shift differential
**Shift: Night (3rd) 11:00pm - 7:00am **

Primary Responsibilities
- Set up, monitor, & operate filling equipment, including but not limited to computers & controls on said fill lines.
- Communicate with maintenance and management on issues concerning fill lines.
- Lift cases of pails of products and load onto fill line as necessary.
- Produce quality product in a reasonable time frame.
- Perform tests to check fill weights, proper labeling and coding.
- Visually observe the operations of the equipment & physically address problems and/or un-jam machines.
- Perform product changeovers, minor operational troubleshooting & adjustments to equipment on all product lines.
- Drive powered industrial truck (PIT) to supply filling lines.
- Comply with all safety rules & standard safety practices.
- Keep workstation area and housekeeping at company standards.
- Create and maintain a teamwork environment & a professional level of communication.
- Maintain and improve production line efficiency standards through teamwork.
- Perform other tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions in written and verbal English is required.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions & be able to record progress, procedures, steps as completed.
- Ability to hear noises made by machines to detect unusual or extraordinary sounds.
- Must have effective interpersonal skills to work in a positive manner in a team atmosphere.
- Ability to complete required safety training.
- Basic computer skills & ability to use computer programs (SAP) and analyze data.
- Ability to lift and carry 60 lbs. for up to 10 hours per day.
- Ability to work in a non-air conditioned environment with exposure to extreme temperature variations and excessive noise levels.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and move over, under, and around production equipment, climb stairs.
- Ability to work in a team environment & take ownership over area of responsibility.
- Ability to learn, master & practice safe operating procedures.
- Ability to wear protective gear including: hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, ear protection, & other PPE as required.
