IT Manager

As the I T Manager, you will manage IT infrastructure and business systems within the local unit of a chemical company Qemetica Silica US that is part of a global group. You will support business strategies by ensuring the operation of IT solutions that align with global standards and local requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with partners to define business and systems requirements for new technology or instructional technology implementations to align with business strategy.
• Report performance and KPI results to the CIO and Business Leader.
• Oversee the operation of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, security systems, and cloud solutions.
• Ensure high system availability and minimize downtime risks.
• Plan and implement IT projects.
• Support the digitalization of business processes in production, logistics, finance, and sales.
• Lead the IT team and coordinate the work of external partners.
• Manage the local IT budget.
• Monitor and implement security policies supporting global group standards.
• Manage security incidents and develop preventive plans.
• Analyze business processes and translate them into technological solutions.
• Provide technical support to employees.
• Educate users on IT tools and data security practices.
• Collaborate, negotiate and communicate with partners, both locally and globally.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred or 10 years of proven experience as Network Engineer, Applications Analyst or similar role.
• 5 years' experience leading an IT function.
• Experience with IT infrastructure/architecture, Quality Management Systems, ERP (SAP), IT trends and technologies, including data security.
• Manage teams in a matrix structure.
• Experience in planning and executing IT projects.
• Global experience preferred.
