- This position will report to leadership in the Greensboro, NC office however it is ideal if the candidate reside within the service territory mentioned above.
- Develop long-term relationships with the architectural and engineering community as well as key state and local municipalities and related trade organizations
- Expand the regional sales pipeline while coordinating activities with the regional qualified and certified contractors.
- Provide outstanding customer service handling questions, concerns, orders, requests for quotation and project jobsite consulting.
- Inform the customer base of industry and/or product developments.
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, plus five (5) or more years of materials sales experience, preferably with paint/coatings or thermoplastic expertise.
- Excellent presentation skills when presenting to the architectural community
- Proven track record to develop and manage long term, high value projects with multiple influencers and decision makers.
- Ability to track and maintain records using CRM software, as well as Microsoft Office. Prior knowledge and usage of Salesforce.com would be very beneficial.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time within the territory focusing on major metro areas.
- Prior experience with demand forecasting and SAP-IBP a plus.
