Traffic and Distribution Technical Clerk

Key Responsibilities

• Help develop and revise procedures and work instructions for distribution processes
• Identify process gaps and potential issues, proposing solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Coordinate, monitor, and document department training compliance, ensuring timely completion of all required trainings
• Create and analyze weekly reports for departmental metrics, EHS, and Process Safety compliance, addressing any discrepancies
• Collaborate with the Distribution team and EHS coordinator to maintain and post training schedules on communication boards
• Monitor and manage the Clientlink program daily, addressing submissions, resolving issues, and ensuring accurate documentation
• Partner with internal teams, including customer service, inventory control, and shipping, to resolve shipment-related issues and ensure smooth operations
• Conduct and document weekly audits of inventory locations to ensure accuracy in physical and system records
• Perform general clerical responsibilities, including filing, scanning, and creating New Hire Packets
• Follow safety regulations, participate in daily 5S/housekeeping activities, and provide additional support to the distribution department as required
  
  

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of related work experience in a manufacturing aerospace work environment required
• Proficient in operating a personal computer, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, and Access) and experience with computerized production scheduling and utility software systems
• Flexibility to work some weekends and extended hours as needed
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
  
  

Salary Range: $48,000-$54,000 Depending on experience
