This position is responsible for performing cash and banking control activities and related administrative support within the department. This position requires attention to detail to ensure that transactions are accurate and in accordance with Company policies.
Responsibilities:
This position will report in office on a hybrid schedule and can be based out of PPL's corporate offices located in either Allentown, PA or Louisville, KY or Providence, RI.
This position is responsible for performing cash and banking control activities and related administrative support within the department. This position requires attention to detail to ensure that transactions are accurate and in accordance with Company policies.
- Perform controls around vendor/customer banking information by performing callbacks and validating against requested change information.
- Complete daily interface controls to ensure all systems are working as expected.
- Assist with daily, monthly, and quarterly cash controls to ensure all transactions are recorded appropriately and prevent instances of fraud.
- Assist with management and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Assist with unclaimed property process, including preparing reports, initiating payment requests, and responding to customer inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and protect organization's values by keeping information confidential.
- Provide support to internal users on Treasury processes.
- Provide various types of administrative accounting support (i.e., word processing, processing mail, scanning, copying, shredding).
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with high customer focus.
- Must have strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and ability to adapt to change.
- Proficient skills with standard computer applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Accounting knowledge preferred but not required.
