The successful candidate will be responsible for managing PPL’s investor relations program, ensuring clear and transparent disclosures of PPL’s financial performance, strategic vision, and growth opportunities. This includes the creation and review of presentations and remarks for PPL executives to deliver to external audiences, which requires strong cross-collaboration with our finance, operations, legal, and public affairs teams.
The successful candidate will also become a key point of contact for institutional investors and security analysts. This is a highly visible position both internally and externally for an individual who demonstrates analytic thinking, confidence, collaboration, and extreme attention to detail. Works independently with guidance from Vice President – Investor Relations.
Responsibilities:
The Manager - Investor Relations will serve as a key member of our Investor Relations team. This position is primarily responsible for assisting the Vice President – Investor Relations in the development and delivery of PPL’s investment thesis and value proposition to the financial community.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing PPL’s investor relations program, ensuring clear and transparent disclosures of PPL’s financial performance, strategic vision, and growth opportunities. This includes the creation and review of presentations and remarks for PPL executives to deliver to external audiences, which requires strong cross-collaboration with our finance, operations, legal, and public affairs teams.

- Manages the development of strategic communications to investors, including PPL’s quarterly earnings calls and other investor marketing materials.
- Reviews sell-side research and provides strategic intelligence on investor sentiment.
- Analyzes trends in sector stock price performance, relative valuation, investor ownership, and peer investor communications.
- Assists in investor targeting analysis, investor outreach, and responses to investor/analyst requests as directed by the VP – Investor Relations.
- Manages the Investor section of PPL’s website.
- Supports development and review of other external communications, including SEC filings, News Releases, and the Corporate Sustainability Report.
- Provides formal supervision to team members including, but not limited to, the following activities: assists in the development and achievement of goals that support company and department goals; provides ongoing feedback to team members, and provides coaching and guidance for team members development.
- Performs and reviews ad hoc analyses to support corporate decision-making and external communication strategy.
- Business travel required up to 25%.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
- At least 7 years of experience in Finance or Accounting or the U.S. utilities industry.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated understanding and communication of complex business issues and market dynamics. Poised with a high degree of confidence.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, investors, analysts.
- Exceptionally high attention to detail.
- Comfort with fast-paced, demanding environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in investor relations or capital markets.
- Experience in U.S. utility industry finance and/or regulation.
- CFA or CPA certification
