Job Summary:

Join our team as a Senior Data Analyst, where you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing our analytics function and shaping our portfolio management capabilities. As part of a small, dynamic team, you'll work closely with our IT department and CIO to elevate our decision-support systems and uncover new investment opportunities.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, data-driven individual with expertise in real estate data science, GIS, programmatic data gathering, and portfolio management. You'll be instrumental in optimizing our processes, developing insightful reports, and driving innovation through technology.
Responsibilities:
Data:
- Evaluate and enhance the quality and usability of real estate-related data for business decisions.
- Collaborate with the IT team to improve our data warehouse and overall data utilization.
- Recommend and implement data improvements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Data Platforms and Modeling:
- Assess and recommend enhancements to our data platform.
- Develop data models to support investment decisions and integrate advanced technologies like AI and cloud-based tools.
- Assist in designing user interfaces for data visualization and decision-making.
Portfolio Management:
- Maintain and optimize portfolio management software for streamlined operations.
- Create regular portfolio reports for management meetings and decision-making.
- Develop statistical and econometric models to enhance portfolio analysis.
- Collaborate with IT and developers to add new functionalities, outputs, and reporting tools.
- Build and maintain a top-down screening model to identify and evaluate investment opportunities.
- Establish portfolio benchmarks, metrics, and methodologies to measure performance against other assets, asset classes and other fund management styles.
- Work with in-house teams like accounting to align performance expectations and reconcile portfolio data efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is required in either: statistics, math, econometrics, or computer science.
- Programming capability in SQL or database management, Python, Power BI.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data analysis and data modeling.
- Effective analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Detailed oriented and organized.
- Self-starter with strong multi-tasking skills.
