What are the responsibilities and job description for the Math and English Tutor (K-12) position at PQ Academia Corp?
The Sylvan Learning Center in Encinitas is seeking Part-Time K-12 Math and English Instructors to provide personalized instruction to elementary, middle school, and high school students. Teach IN-CENTER at our Encinitas, CA location.
As a successful Instructor, you will:
Deliver Quality Education:
- Teach using Sylvan based programs
- Provide individualized instruction to help students complete school assignments.
Inspire Students:
- Develop rapport with students
- Establish a fun learning environment
- Encourage a positive attitude toward reading, writing and math.
Requirements :
1. Teaching credential is preferred but not required. Retired teachers are welcome.
2. Must be available mid-afternoon to evening hours on weekdays and/or mornings on the weekend.
3. Work with maximum of three students using prepared lesson plans or homework tutoring.
4. An enthusiastic approach to teaching.
5. Bachelor's Degree is required.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary : $17 - $19
