Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for clients with intellectual disabilities.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' needs and progress.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor vital signs to ensure health stability.
- Provide behavior management strategies to support clients in achieving personal goals.
- Assist clients with daily living activities including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility support.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers to coordinate care effectively.
- Provide first aid when necessary and ensure a safe environment for all clients.
- Engage in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills related to senior care and childcare.
Requirements
- A degree in social work, psychology, nursing, or a related field is preferred.
