Due to our continuous growth, we are looking for an experienced Software Engineer (Frontend) to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build foundational systems and have a meaningful influence on the evolution of technology. As a frontend engineer, you will work on our client's customer-facing software to enable an expanding array of industry-revolutionizing applications and machine learning capabilities.
Location: Boston, Massachusetts, US.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships by being a collaborative and dependable teammate across the software and machine learning teams, as well as with other key organizational stakeholders
- Create value by working on the most critical initiatives
- Champion pragmatism and help the organization's continuous improvement
- Communicate effectively and efficiently by understanding your audience
- Build React components that can be reused across multiple applications and use cases
- Write automated tests using Jest and Puppeteer
- Implement best practices for application performance and data integrity, and advance our client's platform deployment automation capabilities
- Enable the platform to agilely support complex interactions with customers’ and partners’ technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with a keen interest in distributed systems
- At least 4 years of experience with JavaScript / TypeScript and a solid understanding of ES6 and newer ECMAScript specification
- At least 2 years of experience working with React.js in a cross-functional development team
- Experience working with internal and external REST APIs
- Knowledge of authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Tokens
- Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools
- Strong communication skills that shine in your testable and clean code
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure
- Understanding of backend development
- Experience working in a regulated environment
