What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Sales Specialist position at PR Running?
Metrowest Specialty Run Store seeks friendly, outgoing person committed to customer service for a part time sales position. 15-25 Hours a week needed. Weekend availability is necessary (the store is currently closed on Sundays). Store hours 10am to 5pm most days. Shifts days and times can be flexible.
We fit runners, walkers and people with various foot problems in our store. We perform a gait analysis and spend the time and energy with each customer to ensure the utmost satisfaction. Our success is entirely based on the customer service we deliver – so the bar is set high!
You must be able to listen carefully and help people of all ability levels with their footwear needs. We will train you for gait analysis, but we are looking for someone who already understands how to work with people and is compassionate and caring.
Pay is negotiable as it relates to experience in roles/run specialty.
Base Requirements:
*Interest and enthusiasm for running/or other fitness pursuits. Pace/ability level does not matter but enthusiasm does.
*Friendly Attitude.
*Excellent Customer Service Skills.
*Ability to listen to each customer’s “story”.
*Ability to multi-task.
*Ability to work well with others.
*Have the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, climb up and down ladders, and be on your feet for an extended amount of time.
Tasks
*Work with store manager to establish floor flow, cleanliness of store, and ensure the highest level of customer service every day.
*Ability to check in shipments and enter inventory into our custom POS system.
* The right candidate can make their mark on our social media presence.
*Computer Literacy.
*Ability to quickly learn POS system and manage customers and inventory within the system.
*Nights up to 6pm and weekends required (currently closed on Sundays)
