Duties
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Review schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements and facilitate effective execution.
- Utilize software tools for project management and documentation.
- Conduct construction estimating to prepare accurate budgets and resource allocation plans.
- Coordinate project scheduling to ensure timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
- Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality work and adherence to agreements.
- Train and mentor junior staff on best practices in construction management.
- Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
Skills
- Proficient in using construction management software including Prolog, Bluebeam, and ProCore.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating techniques and project scheduling methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings effectively.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage conflicts on-site.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
