Construction Project Manager

Job Summary
The Construction Manager plays a critical role in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with project specifications, timelines, and safety standards. This position requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of construction principles, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.

Duties
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Review schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements and facilitate effective execution.
- Utilize software tools for project management and documentation.
- Conduct construction estimating to prepare accurate budgets and resource allocation plans.
- Coordinate project scheduling to ensure timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
- Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality work and adherence to agreements.
- Train and mentor junior staff on best practices in construction management.
- Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.

Skills
- Proficient in using construction management software including Prolog, Bluebeam, and ProCore.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating techniques and project scheduling methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings effectively.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage conflicts on-site.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a construction environment.

This role is essential for ensuring that projects are completed efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
