We are seeking an experienced Integration Developer to join the CurRent NYC initiative, which aims to improve the customer service and operational efficiency for landlords working with the Human Resources Administration (HRA). The project focuses on creating an application that enhances self-service options, facilitates electronic payments, and enables more accurate CityFHEPS application submission and processing. As an Integration Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and managing integrations between systems to ensure seamless data flow and connectivity. Your work will directly impact the user experience and help address significant process improvements for the initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, Development, and Deployment:
Develop, test, and deploy integration solutions to connect various systems, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange between them.
- Data Flow and Integrity:
Ensure accurate and efficient data flow between systems, maintain data integrity, and create golden records. This includes managing many-to-many relationships between landlord accounts and systems.
- API Creation and Management:
Design and manage APIs for internal and external use, enabling data exchange and access to landlord records, including historical account data and other functionalities within the shared landlord portal.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
Identify, analyze, and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and maintaining system reliability.
- Collaboration:
Work closely with IT teams, business leaders, and stakeholders to design integration solutions that align with project objectives, making technical concepts understandable for non-technical stakeholders.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and middleware technologies.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Java/JEE development.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with RESTful services, SOAP services, WSDL, XML, XSD, XSLT, XPath.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with MQ Queues, channels, and MQ attributes.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working with SSL certificates, public/private keys, and other security technologies.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience using Atlassian Jira, Confluence, IBM Integration Bus (IIB), App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM MQ Explorer, Oracle SQL Developer, and related development tools.
- Strong knowledge of integration technologies, including IBM DataPower, IBM WebSphere Message Broker, Oracle Business Process Management (OBPM), and others.
- Proven experience in problem-solving and analytical thinking to manage complex integrations and ensure optimal system performance.
- Experience in working in a team environment, with leadership abilities and a deep understanding of object-oriented programming methodologies.
