We are seeking a dedicated, fully bilingual (SPA-ENG), and detail-oriented Medical Office Manager to join our healthcare team. Strong and proven leadership skills are utmost desired. Duties
- Manage healthcare team members by providing effective leadership while leading by example.
- Oversee and participate -when needed- in patient scheduling and appointments, while ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with market standards.
- Assist with the intake process, including collecting patient information and verifying insurance details.
- Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to inquiries, and managing correspondence as related by director.
- Support medical staff with clerical duties related to patient care, including managing referrals, denials, and follow-ups.
- Utilize electronic health record systems for data entry and retrieval.
- Ensure the office environment is organized, clean, and compliant with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment to provide excellent patient care.
Experience
- Previous experience in a medical office clinic is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and acute care practices is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of managed care processes and systems related to healthcare administration.
- Proficiency in office management tasks, including scheduling software and electronic health records.
- Experience working within JCAHO-accredited facilities is an advantage.
