- Work closely with teachers and school leaders to deliver targeted, culturally responsive support in high school Algebra I and II
- Engage small groups of students, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and resilience
- Be a valued part of a team dedicated to transforming educational outcomes in underserved communities
- Days: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
- Time:9:45AM to 1:45PM
- Duration:February4th, 2025– May 9th, 2025(excluding holidays and school conferences)
- Key Dates Off:
- February 17 - February 21: Midwinter Recess
- March 21: High School 6-12 Parent-Teacher Conferences
- April 14 - April 18: Spring Recess
- Experience: Prior experience tutoring or teaching high school Algebra I and II
- Bilingual Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to provide academic support in both languages
- Team Player: Collaborative spirit and a desire to work closely with teachers and students
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to connect effectively with diverse audiences
- Passion: A commitment to educational equity and social justice for minority and low-income students
- Availability: Must be able to work the specified schedule consistently
- Competitive Pay: Earn $22/hr with the opportunity to increase to $24.20/hr through a completion bonus
