- Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to deliver engaging and focused small-group instruction in ELA
- Serve as push-in support, assisting teachers during lessons and working with selected students
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and resilience
- Be a valued member of a team dedicated to transforming educational outcomes in underserved communities
- Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- Time: 9:20 AM – 2:20 PM
- Duration: February 25, 2025 – March 27, 2025 (excluding holidays and school conferences)
- Key Date Off:
- March 13: Middle School Parent Teacher's Conference
- Experience: Prior experience tutoring or teaching middle school ELA
- Subject Proficiency: Strong knowledge of ELA at the middle school level
- Team Player: A collaborative spirit and a desire to work closely with teachers and students
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to connect effectively with diverse audiences
- Passion: A commitment to educational equity and social justice for minority and low-income students
- Availability: Must be able to work the specified schedule consistently
- Competitive Pay: Earn $22/hr with the opportunity to increase to $24.20/hr through a completion bonus
