What You’ll Do:
- Work closely with teachers to provide engaging, small-group ELA instruction
- Provide push-in classroom support, helping students develop strong literacy skills
- Focus on test readiness strategies to improve student performance and confidence
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that motivates students to excel
- Days: Monday – Thursday
- Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Duration: March 24, 2025 – May 1, 2025 (excluding holidays and school conferences)
- Key Dates Off:
- March 31 – Eid al-Fitr
- April 14-18 – Spring Recess
- Experience: Previous experience working in an elementary school setting as a tutor, teacher’s assistant, or similar role
- Subject Proficiency: Strong knowledge of elementary-level ELA concepts
- Engagement Skills: Ability to support students in an encouraging and structured learning environment
- Collaboration: Willingness to work closely with teachers and school staff
- Adaptability: Capable of adjusting strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Commitment: Must be available for the full duration of the program
- Competitive Pay: Earn $22/hr with the opportunity to increase to $24.20/hr through a completion bonus
