Role Overview:
We are seeking passionate, experienced, and forward-thinking
Medical Director to serve as the clinical leader across our MSO
network. This role is critical in maintaining high standards of care,
providing clinical oversight, ensuring regulatory compliance, and
guiding our network of physicians and advanced practice
providers.
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care across various settings, including clinics and home care. This position requires a strong background in diagnostic evaluation, infection control, and the ability to work with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment plans are developed and implemented effectively.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and health histories.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to determine patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer venipuncture and other necessary procedures as required.
- Provide care in both clinic settings and home care environments, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Manage patients with chronic conditions and provide education on disease management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within Level I and Level II Trauma Centers to deliver optimal patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication management.
- Stay current with best practices in psychopharmacology to support mental health needs.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited institution.
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure.
- Experience in pediatrics or ophthalmology is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in infection control practices within clinical settings.
- Strong skills in diagnostic evaluation and the ability to perform venipuncture.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
