What You’ll Do:
- Work closely with teachers to provide engaging, small-group instruction in Math and ELA
- Provide push-in classroom support, helping students develop strong reading, writing, and math skills
- Support differentiated instruction by tailoring lessons to meet diverse learning needs
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment to motivate students
- Days: Monday – Friday
- Time: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Duration: March 31, 2025 – June 26, 2025 (excluding holidays and school closures)
- Key Dates Off:
- March 31: Eid al-Fitr
- April 14–18: Spring Recess
- May 26: Memorial Day
- June 5: Anniversary Day
- June 6: Clerical Day
- Experience: Prior experience tutoring or working as a teaching assistant for early elementary school Math and ELA
- Subject Proficiency: Strong knowledge of foundational literacy and numeracy concepts for grades 1-3
- Team Player: A collaborative spirit and a desire to work closely with teachers and students
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to connect effectively with diverse audiences
- Passion: A commitment to educational equity and social justice for minority and low-income students
- Availability: Must be able to work the specified schedule consistently
- Competitive Pay: Earn $22/hr with the opportunity to increase to $24.20/hr through a completion bonus
