We are seeking 1-2 part-time Board Operators for MountainPlex Media to be a part of a growing company. This position will be an integral member of our media team and will interact regularly with team members, local citizens, guests, visitors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Support general on-air and remote broadcasts.
• Set up and troubleshoot mixing boards, microphones, and electronic and mechanical components specific to the radio station.
• Operate computer software used for editing and broadcasting audio.
• Responsible for volume equalization and effects, production duties, and delay.
• Ensure broadcasts comply with guidelines provided by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC)

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or professional certification in audio engineering and/or equivalent years of experience in audio engineering
• Excellent technical skills and aptitude
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Experience with audio editing software, Adobe Audition, and Photoshop preferred
