Responsibilities
- Administrative: Leadership, clinical supervision, and oversight of outpatient clinic providers, including training, teaching, and clinical guidance.
- Participate in case reviews, quality improvement initiatives, and maintain operational efficiency in collaboration with the administrative and clinical supervisory teams.
- Clinical: Provide direct patient care, including comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and management of mental health conditions.
- Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, social workers, other clinical staff, and community stakeholders.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Experience in an outpatient setting is also preferred
- DEA Licensure/NYS licensure required
- Applicants should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented
- Adult mental health clinic with integrated primary care
- Child and adolescent mental health clinic
- Personalized recovery-oriented services program
- Crisis diversion services for adults and children/families
- A current outpatient team of 4 psychiatrists and 6 psychiatric nurse practitioners
- The outpatient services are part of the larger Ellis Psychiatry department, which also includes crisis, inpatient adult, and inpatient adolescent psychiatric hospital units. Close collaboration across outpatient, inpatient, crisis, and crisis-diversion services ensures comprehensive care for our patients

- Salary: $320,000 - $340,000, commensurate with experience
