Ascension Via Christi is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiac Surgery Team here in Wichita, Kansas.
Position Responsibilities:
- Join an amazing Cardiac Surgery team!
- Endoscopic vein harvesting experience preferred.
- Surgical experience highly preferred.
- Great leadership and tenured staff to provide support.
- Surgical schedule that does allow for some flexibility dependent upon cases.
- Documents delivery of health care and processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network policy.
- Largest multi-specialty group practice in Kansas including locations in Manhattan, Pittsburg, Wamego and Wichita - More than 300 providers in 40 specialties providing mission-minded care for all.
- Academic affiliation with the University of Kansas School of Medicine and sponsorship of 6 residency and 2 fellowship programs.

Requirements
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Certified Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing preferred.
- Master's degree of Nursing required.
