POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
- Exceptional opportunity for an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon with solid clinical and surgical skills to practice in an innovative, collaborative, and fully integrated health system
- Full spectrum adult cardiac practice with an overall volume of 225 pumps per year, evenly distributed between two surgeons. Cases are typically moderate to high complexity and risk
- Cardiothoracic division includes two CT surgeons, 1 thoracic surgeon and 4 physician assistants
- Strong and experienced team of 4 cardiac anesthesiologists and excellent support and collaboration with cardiology, vascular surgery and hospitalist team
- Predictable and uncomplicated call schedule with rare emergent cases which promote a health work life balance
- BC/ BE by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery (ABTS)
- 5 years of experience
- 8 weeks of PTO and 11 paid holidays
