Erlanger Health is accepting applications for an ACNP/ PA to join a unique role within the Cardiothoracic department in Chattanooga, TN.
This is a full-time position with working hours of Monday-Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm. The Cardiothoracic ACNP/PA provides selected medical/surgical services within the specialty of cardiothoracic and vascular medicine and any others as defined by the collaborative agreement the ACNP or PA has with the collaborating Physician. The services delegated in the role will function as an extension of the patient management provided by the Cardiology and CT Surgery faculty. The responsibilities of this role include, but not limited to, performing history and physical examinations; ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests; and administering pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies.
Education, Training, & Experience
Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN)- Advanced Practice Nurse & Acute Care Certified OR
Graduate of Master's degree Physician Assistant program
Operating Room, Critical Care, Emergency Department OR Cardiothoracic experience preferred
