West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Cardiology seek fellowship-trained Cardiac Electrophysiologists (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) to join our rapidly growing, academic, state-of-the-art, employed faculty. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV
Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. In such instances, travel would be anticipated and expected to fulfill said duties at these additional sites.
Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas of cardiac electrophysiology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows .
Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidates must be ABIM electrophysiology board certified or eligible. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

WVU Cardiac Electrophysiology is currently comprised of 5 full-time faculty who are supported by dedicated staff including 5 APP, 4 RN, 6 remote CIED monitoring personnel, and OR staff at sites where we provide procedural services. We are supported by cardiac anesthesia, cardiac surgery, cardiac imaging, and a large general cardiology fellowship program. An EP fellowship program is initiating in July 2025. Our service portfolio and equipment are state of the art. Call is uniquely non-intrusive.
