The Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) seeks an invasive (non-interventional) cardiologist to join our growing team of FACC cardiologists in Anchorage, Alaska. As a Level II Trauma Center, ANMC serves as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people across the entire state. With over 30 specialties, we provide a full complement of acute medical and primary care services. In this role you will provide outpatient management and inpatient consults for 12-15 patients per day with exposure to advanced disease and challenging pathologies, including advanced valvular disease. Perform cardiac catheterizations Left & Right and pacemaker insertions. Physicians provide telemedicine consults using our world renowned AFHCAN and manage patients at rural outreach clinics throughout the state.
Qualifications : Completion of an ACGME/AOA residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiology; BE/BC in Cardiology; willing to travel to rural communities in the state 2-3 days at a time 5 to 6 times per year.
