Providence has a per diem opportunity for a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join the Heart Institute of Montana in Missoula. Currently, the surgeons perform over 400 open heart cases per year and are supported by a dedicated team of PA's, nurses, surgical technicians and other clinical/clerical office staff. There is also a robust structural heart program that collaborates between interventional cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery physicians.
