West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medicineseek an Academic Endocrinologist qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. The successful candidates will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV. (Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also be assigned to provide services at additional work sites in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. In such instances, travel would be anticipated and expected to fulfill said duties at these additional sites).
The successful candidate will practice in the area of Endocrinology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. Opportunities exist to participate in clinical and translational research.
Qualifications: applicants must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license. Candidates must be board certified / eligible in internal medicine. Candidates must have completed an accredited internal medicine residency program and an endocrinology fellowship program by the time of appointment.All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
