Family Medicine Physician Job with Bon Secours Mercy Health in Mechanicsville, VA

Located on the campus of Memorial Regional Medical Center, situated in Mechanicsville, VA - Laburnum Medical Center @ MRMC is in an up-and-coming, rapid growth area. New home developments and retirement communities in the area are driving the need for primary care. We also have rural areas within driving distance, with quick access to I-95 and I-295. This location is 18 miles/22 minutes from Short Pump Town Center.

Job Details:

• Family Medicine MD with at least 2 years of outpatient primary care practice experience needed
• EPIC EMR
• 2 MD and 1 NP in the practice now
• Support by 3 LPN and 1 CMA, plus Practice Administrator, in-office PharmD and in-office Social Worker
• Work schedule is negotiable - 5-8's or 4-10's - no less than .8 (32 hours per week)
• 100% outpatient
• Full time provider highly preferred and prioritized
• Call is shared among 10 providers, 3 to 4 days every 4th week.
• Average 20 patients per day after ramp-up period
• This is a wRVU practice environment with guaranteed base comp for first 2 years
• Practice sees age 12 and up, current demographic age 22-70
• Basic in-office procedures, hospital follow ups, pre-operative care, new patients, routine medical care, well-child exams
• Mentorship available - Student Preceptor opportunities available
• We are looking for a physician and team member who fosters relationships with their patients and that is able to work collegially and respectfully in a group setting
