WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Knox Winamac Community Health Center is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Family Physician to join our busy, growing practice, located in Knox, IN. Our primary care physicians see patients of all ages, from birth to seniors. Our providers diagnose and treat medical illnesses, provide preventive care such as annual checkups and health risk assessments, and provide guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. In addition, they manage chronic conditions and can refer to a specialist or coordinate hospital care as needed. We have a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker to address the mental and behavioral health needs of our patients.
WHAT WE NEED:
An ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidates will display exceptional interpersonal skills and a desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients. Physicians will need to work collaboratively with existing medical staff to coordinate and deliver exemplary patient care.

Stark County is a family-oriented community resulting in a great quality of life. Our area is home to lakes, rivers, parks and trails. Knox is located close to several major cities and airports. South Bend, Indiana is approximately a 45-minute drive and has a Regional Airport. Valparaiso, LaPorte and Michigan City, Indiana are all a 30-minute drive as well. Chicago, Illinois and Indianapolis, Indiana are both approximately 2 hours away. That puts our community in what we like to call the Heartland of Indiana, down-home comfortable living yet close enough to enjoy the amenities of the larger cities.

DETAILS OF THE POSITIONS:
- Outpatient Only - 100%
- Work four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days
- Occasional Saturday (8 to 1pm)
- Average outpatient volume: 22 to 25 patients per day
