The Department of Family and Community Medicine at LKSOM has been serving the community for over 120 years and currently has 12 core faculty members who are based at its main site at the Temple University Health Sciences Campus and an extensive number of adjunct, associate and affiliate members in our community. The Department is known for its partnerships and outreach programs with the North Philadelphia community and for its innovative approaches to caring for underserved urban population, while training the next generation of physicians for underserved urban communities.
