The Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology & Advanced Endoscopy at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) seeks a qualified candidate at the Assistant/Associate Professor level for a full-time academic position in Interventional Gastroenterology. The successful candidate will be interested in EUS, ERCP, Endobariatrics, Endohepatology, POEM among others. This position will support general and advance gastroenterology consultation and procedures at University Hospital, training of gastroenterology and hepatology fellows, educational needs for the internal medicine residency program and curriculum development , participate in the curriculum of the medical students and other educational needs at NJMS and research in gastroenterology. The candidate must possess clinical, teaching and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities will include patient care, research, and teaching (medical students/resident physicians and subspecialty fellows) in concert with the policies of Rutgers NJMS, University Hospital and the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology.
