What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Practice Licensed Clinical Social Worker Job with Defense Health Agency Medical Civilian Corps in Lawton, OK position at PracticeLink?
Provide individual, family, and group clinical counseling services to identify and manage personal, psychological and interactive problems associated with occupation and personal adjustment.
Develop individual treatment plans based on psychiatric diagnosis, identified problems, and treatment needs for each case.
Collect bio-psycho-social information about patients using interview, case history, and observation techniques and assessment methods.
Analyze information collected to determine diagnosis, treatment plan and/or advisability of counseling or referral to other specialists or institutions.
Evaluate treatment effectiveness and make adjustments to patient's treatment plans as appropriate. Performs other duties as assigned.Conditions of Employment:
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
Selectees may be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
A pre-placement medical examination may be required.
Immunization screening may be required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
May be required to obtain and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Red Cross. Advanced certification (e.g., ALS) does not supersede BLS.
