Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive gynecological care, specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of gynecological cancers (ovarian, uterine, cervical, etc.).
- Perform surgeries, including minimally invasive procedures, for gynecological oncology patients.
- Lead the development of individualized treatment plans for patients, involving chemotherapy, radiation, and surgical options.
- Interpret lab results, imaging, and pathology reports to guide patient care decisions.
- Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with referring providers and facilitate multidisciplinary consultations.
- Participate in the continued growth of the gynecological oncology program, contributing to program protocols and best practices.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with a subspecialty focus in Gynecologic Oncology.
- Strong expertise in gynecological oncology procedures and treatments.
- Proven ability to manage complex oncology cases, including both surgical and non-surgical treatment options.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Ability to thrive in an evolving program and contribute to its growth.
- Engage with medical residents and fellows, providing mentorship and teaching opportunities in gynecological oncology.
