Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting for patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage ongoing care for patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure the implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Utilize Cerner EMR system for documenting patient interactions and maintaining accurate records.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and care plans.
- Participate in patient follow-ups and manage any ongoing or emerging issues.
- Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a specialization in Hematology Oncology.
- Previous experience in an outpatient hematology oncology setting is preferred.
- Proficient in using Cerner EMR system.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient education and care.
- Coverage includes scheduled clinical hours only.
