MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital in Rockport, ME , and MaineHealth Waldo Hospital in Belfast, ME . This is a fantastic opportunity to practice comprehensive oncology and hematology care in a rapidly expanding, supportive environment.

- A Growing & Collaborative Team : Both hospitals are home to rapidly expanding hematology and oncology practices, with Pen Bay staffed by 2 oncologists and 2 NPs, and WCGH with 1 oncologist and 1 DNP.
- Comprehensive Supportive Services : Work alongside dedicated pharmacists, nurse navigators, social workers, palliative care providers, and allied staff within a well-equipped on-site infusion center. Close collaboration with a network of shared services between Pen Bay and WCGH.
- Tertiary Support : Access to advanced tertiary care hematology services at Maine Health Cancer Care (MHCC) and Maine Medical Center (MMC) in Portland, the state’s leading tertiary care hospital.
- Flexibility & Balance : Full-time position (4 days of outpatient care and 1 day of administrative time). Patients mix can be tailored to allow for a hybrid general hematology oncology and subspecialty practice. Accommodations can also be made for those seeking to scale down full practices and seeking part time work.
- Competitive Call Schedule : Phone-based call shared with Pen Bay Medical Center and Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick, ME (approximately 1 week every 6 weeks). First calls taken by the NPs.

- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Successful completion of residency/fellowship in oncology or hematology-oncology.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in oncology or hematology-oncology.
