Local Team Collaboration:
- Join our close-knit team of hospitalists at Franciscan St James Health Olympia Fields Campus.
- We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to fill a role within our pre-surgical testing clinic, which is located within the hospital.
- Our hospital serves patients within our 214-bed facility, and while a sizable portion of our patients are geriatric, we see a wide variety of diagnoses in adults of all ages.
- NP certification is required.
- The ideal candidate has experience working with pre-surgical or surgical patients as a nurse practitioner.
- Some Urgent care or Primary Care clinic experience is required.
- Enjoys working in a clinic setting.
- Professional and friendly demeanor, reliable and punctual.
Schedule:
- This position is Monday- Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
- No weekends and no holidays.
- Complete a full assessment of patients prior to scheduled surgical procedures and determine any additional testing or considerations needed prior to surgery.
- Complete documentation in a timely manner. Communicate with all stakeholders effectively and efficiently.

- Compensation: $135,000 annually.
