Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic illnesses, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring individualized and evidence-based care.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and practice guidelines.
- Provide patient education on preventive healthcare measures, lifestyle modifications, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes and continuity of care.
- Graduate of nationally accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) Program
- Current or ability to obtain PA/NP licensure in Missouri
- Experience in primary care or family medicine is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive patient-provider relationships.
