- Competitive Starting Salary $240,000-$250,000
- Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm
- This position is telehealth eligible (virtual visits- video, remote care by telephone)
- Provide care to approximately 12-20 outpatients daily in an outpatient setting
- Responsible for all facets of acute patient care
- Will assist in completing quality management reviews.
- Responsible for the successful achievement of applicable Performance Measure and Monitors his/her areas of responsibility.
- Incumbent will take an active part in the peer review process and complete Physician's reviews on time
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Experience in Primary Care
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. Non-Citizen candidates will be considered if a U.S. Citizen is not found
- Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State
- Predictable work schedules and a focus on quality rather than volume
- Annual performance bonus up to an additional $15K per year
- Federal health/dental/vision / term life/long-term care insurance (many can be carried over into retirement)
- Malpractice: Liability protection with tail coverage provided
- 26 days paid vacation; 13 days paid sick time per year w/unlimited carry over; 11 paid holidays
- Federal pension (5 years vesting) and separate 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA
- P ossible 5 days and up to $1,000 per year reimbursement for CME’s (must be full-time with board certification)
- This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), if approved
