Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prenatal care, including routine check-ups, screenings, and education for expecting mothers.
- Assist in labor and delivery, offering emotional and physical support to mothers.
- Conduct postnatal assessments and offer guidance on infant care and breastfeeding.
- Educate patients on reproductive health, family planning, and wellness.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for mothers and infants.
- Participate in community outreach and education programs to promote maternal and infant health.
- Stay current with advancements in midwifery practices through continued education and professional growth.
- Master’s degree in Nurse Midwifery or an equivalent qualification.
- Current certification as a Nurse Midwife (CNM) or Board Eligible/Certified.
- Valid medical license to practice in North Dakota.
- Strong clinical skills and a passion for providing patient-centered care.
