Medical Oncologist
Bon Secours Southside Medical Center is seeking to employ two full-time Medical Oncologists. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and personable provider who is interested in professional development and growing the practice. The qualified candidate must be board certified or board eligible in Hematology & Oncology and should be able to obtain and maintain an unrestricted Virginia medical license.

Bon Secours Southside Medical Center (SMC) is in Petersburg, Virginia, approximately 20 minutes south of Richmond, Virginia. We provide comprehensive, coordinated care to patients diagnosed with cancer or blood disorders.
SMC offers a full continuum of health services ranging from preventative education and outpatient services to acute surgical care, radiation oncology, behavioral health, rehabilitation, home health and hospice services.
SMC is a regional medical center and the only acute care facility in the city of Petersburg, Virginia, and serves as a leading resource for the community that connects consumers, physicians, and health systems.

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm
- Call Schedule: Evenings & Weekends – Share call with other Medical Oncologists
- Hospital Credentialing: Southside Medical Center
- Average Patients Per Day: 35-40
- Patient Age Range: Adult/Geriatric
- Practice Support: 2 RNs, 2 Medical Physicists, 1 Radiation Oncologist
