West Virginia University Children s Hospital is hiring a full time BC/BE Pediatric Gastroenterologist. You will be joining a well-established group of 4 MDs, 3NPs, and 2 nurses at our main campus in Morgantown, WV.

Our newly opened 150 bed Children s Hospital has a full suite of pediatric operating rooms, cardiac catheterization lab/interventional radiology, and GI-endoscopy with dedicated pediatric anesthesia staff. WVU Medicine Children s is a Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center, with plans to become Level 1, as it is for adults currently. J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital is the only hospital in West Virginia with a pediatric cardiac surgery program, the only epilepsy monitoring unit in the state equipped to serve children, and the only hospital in the state to receive Magnet status for nursing excellence.

- Within clinic you may have access to a dietitian and a psychologist
- We participate in an active telemedicine program to best serve the entire state of WV
- Each week you will have one full academic day and a half day of endoscopy
- Endoscopy is preformed within the Children s hospital with a strong team of pediatric anesthesiologists and CRNAs WVU participates in ICN
- The inpatient service is a consult-based service with an academic hospitalist team
- Call is equally divided among all physicians and there is no clinic obligation during call weeks
